Description Are you looking for night time work?

Could you support someone with learning disabilities, helping them live life on their own terms?

We have vacancies for Waking Nights Support Workers in our service in Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire.

About the role

You'll join the friendly team working at our registered care home in Wheathampstead, supporting six adults who have learning disabilities. They are aged between 53 and 87 years. You will be available during the night to provide physical support and emotional reassurance when they are wakeful; checking at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day.

Sometimes personal care or medication may be required and they may display behaviours of concern when anxious.

The work can be demanding and doesn't suit everyone, but if it's right for you, you'll find it incredibly rewarding and valuable. We will provide you with full training and with day-to-day help and advice from your Head of Service.
