Description Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a Transport Support Advisor to join a busy and fast growing manufacturing company based within Suffolk.

Reporting to the Transport & Operations Manager, the Transport & Customer Service Administrator will be based within the Transport/Debtrac Ops Department. The role will provide an administration support service to the department.

Day to day duties will include but not limited to updating daily plant and vehicle reports including the management of tachograph analysis, updating customers of any late delivery’s, checking and taking full ownership of POD and Invoice queries.
Supporting both the traffic planner, weighbridge function and ops manager the role will focus on customer delivery and administrative accuracy.
Waste Logics software is a key tool within the business and the role will be to manage and develop the use of this in-line with the business requirements.

Main Duties –

• Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries.
• Processing and responding to incoming emails.
• Writing and sending quotations.
• Defect report data collection.
• Updating maintenance job sheets.
• Health and safety walk round checks of the site.
• Writing and reporting site non-conformances.
• Creating and updating the company’s weekly/monthly reports.
• Stock taking and ordering.
• Booking in vehicle inspections, services and MOT's.
• Collection of driver taco data and updating to the tis-web software.
• Presenting driver infringements.
• General filing duties, in paper form and via the company’s electronic filing system.
• Uniform ordering.
• Cover weighbridge duties.
• Creating and updating the customers weekly/monthly reports.
• Taking over the phone and card payments, using sage.
• Chasing slow moving skip/bins.
• Creating and updating job orders.
• Direct support to the Transport and waste Manager.
• Direct support to the Transport Planner.
• Proactive contact with customer assisting transport planner/supervisor
• Taking on invoice queries (WASTE ONLY) and with support from transport and commercial see through to a satisfactory conclusion whilst preventing further queries
• Generate reports to support the business
• Manage duty of care implementation and roll out for new and existing services
• Build relationships with Brokers that require ‘one point of contact’ supporting the commercial team

This is a Monday - Friday permananet role working hours of 8AM -5PM and a salary of between £17,000 - £25,000.
