From a fine dining experience for thousands of delegates, to an on-the-go lunch for an exhibitor team, we operate on all scales with outstanding care in every service area. Our business is growing and we have added new and exciting possibilities every day through our partnership with our client, event organisers and exhibitors.

Last year we completed a major project where we opened 2 new restaurants and refurbished and rebranded new ‘food to go’ offerings alongside delivering a great mix of retail ‘in-hall’ catering solutions.

We are now looking for a Stores Logistics Manager-ExCel London, who is used to high volumes and working in fast paced environments.

  • £28,000-£30,000 dependent on experience

  • Working 5 out of 7 days

  • Flexibility is required at the needs of the business.

Main responsibilities

As Stores Logistic Manager-ExCel London you will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods. Responsible for a vital part of the process, you'll manage people, processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately to the right location and that targets are met. Your duties will included:-

  • Delivery of consistent and exceptional service standards to achieve and ideally exceed agreed unit targets and grow our reputation for legendary customer service.

  • Close and detail liaison with exhibition hall clients to scope, plan and deliver their bespoke requests.

  • Liaison with 3rd party supplier and contractors to underpin effective service delivery.

  • Own the delivery of health and safety policy and process across your remit.

  • Operate and further develop consistently high brand standards within defined area.

  • Share and act on client and customer feedback continually.

  • Responsible for all the storage procedure, tidiness and cleanliness of the area

  • Alongside kitchen department to be responsible of tidiness and cleanliness of the loading bay

  • Responsible to load the goods in our online app ordering system (Foodbuy)

  • Responsible for good receive, ensuring the items arrived always match invoices & delivery notes

  • Placing all C&E orders alongside Cellar supervisor for beverage & C&E Logistic manager for disposable and equipment

  • Liaising with Retail Logistic manager for any retail order

  • Responsible for the right store of the equipment, alongside C&E Logistic manager & Retail Logistic manager

  • Responsible for equipment hire collections, alongside head of department & C&E Logistic manager

  • Responsible for linen procedure (orders/collection) à Alongside C&E Logistic manager

  • Work closely with your team of managers and supervisors to develop and sustain a high level of team energy and engagement

  • Conduct regular appraisals, performance reviews and succession planning activity, based on agreed result areas and KPI’s.

  • Own and drive the training plan and activity for your remit.

  • Ensure effective communication flows in all directions across your team and with peers and colleagues throughout ExCeL.

  • Be in control of all operating costs in line with set targets.

  • Responsible for disposable and beverage stock takes Alongside head of department


Ideal candidate

  • Experienced in leading the implementation of change programmes to deliver operational benefits.

  • Comfortable working within brand guidelines to deliver results.

  • Experience in fast paced environments

  • Excellent communications skills – able to influence all stakeholder levels.

  • Previous P&L accountability and evidence of commercial awareness

  • Exudes confidence, energy and charisma.

  • Demonstrates flexibility and agility.

  • Calm and structured approach, coupled with resilience and problem-solving skills.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Preferable forklift driving license holder
