Description Breezemount are leading providers of 2-person home delivery services and an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious HR Officer to join the HR team, to ensure that the business gets timely and appropriate HR support, throughout the entire employment cycle.

Reporting directly to the HR Business Partner, the HR Officer is responsible for ensuring all day to day activities take place, so the successful candidate should be able to work autonomously to ensure all deadlines are met. This role will suit a candidate who has HR experience but is looking for the next step in their career, where they can work independently and get involved with wider HR objectives. Other duties will include:

Support in the development and implementation of the people strategy,
Act as the first point of call for managers seeking advice on employee-related matters for the UK & Northern Ireland,
Ensuring HR systems & employee benefits portals are maintained and up to date,
Manage activities with the whole employee life cycle, new starters, probations, promotions, company reward, benefit and recognition schemes, apprentice levy, issuing contracts of employment, handbooks, absence management, all aspects of family leave, leavers & exit interviews,
Provider monthly & ad hoc reports as required,
Support the organisations in its adherence to legal compliance, including GDPR,
Working closely with recruitment & payroll and providing cover where required.

This is a full time and permanent position working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

To be successful in the role you will require:

CIPD qualified or part qualified preferred,
Sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice and employment law knowledge, including GDPR,
Previous experience in a similar role and able to demonstrate success in this role,
Working knowledge of human resources and payroll systems, Cascade would be an advantage,
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English,
A creative approach to solving problems.
