Description Title: PA/Team Assistant – 12 month maternity cover

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits 

Reporting to: Senior Portfolio Manager

Location: Mayfair

Join a dynamic Asset Manager based in stunning offices in the heart of Mayfair.  As the EA, you will be providing support to 1 Senior Portfolio Manager and the rest of the Emerging Markets Corporate team.

In this busy EA role, there will be extensive diary management and complicated travel arrangements for the head of Emerging Markets and wider team.

You will be joining a dynamic organisation offering a challenging and rewarding working environment.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Extensive diary management
High volume travel and accommodation arrangements, both domestically and internationally including providing detailed itineraries
Organising multiple events and roadshows
Producing and amending important documentation
Update the EM corporate database and produce various reports on a regular basis (including updating charts and daily portfolio reports, posting news, new issue details, maintaining fund trends reports and various portfolio management reports)
Organising meetings including booking rooms, refreshments, providing necessary documentation and greeting visitors
Maintaining and improving key records and files
Providing ad-hoc assistance for projects and research activities
Managing, distributing and understanding the teams’ month end reports using Excel
Processing expenses and general administration

Experience and attributes:

*Experience in a similar role as an Executive and Team Assistant
*The ability to multi-task with a busy and varied workload whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Excellent communication skills 
*Use initiative in order to pro-actively assist the team above and beyond delegated tasks
*Strong organisational skills and proven ability to manage time effectively
*Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint and extensive experience using database systems
*Enthusiasm, proactive, hardworking and a positive attitude are a must
