Description

We have a great opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced  catering manager to be manage the front of house, at Yale College, Wrexham.   Ambitious and commercially aware, with the presence and personality to influence the day-to-day business, you'll maximise the performance of your team. Leading by example and setting high standards, you'll enhance sales and provide our customers with great service.  We are seeking someone that has experience working in a high volume environment, preferably have managed a multi-site unit.  This is a great opportunity to progress to a group manager in the next year.


Package description

Salary from £23000 - £25000 per annum



Mainly Mon - Fri, 40 hour per week, 



2 weeks off over Christmas

Main responsibilities

 




  • Responsible for all the financial aspects of the business

  • Overseeing  the front of house, making sure that we offer the best service and quality of food for our students and client

  • Training, keeping all personal/training files up to date

  • Motivating staff and getting the best out of your team

  • Build an excellent relationship with the client

  • Adhering the H&S regulations

  • Will be reporting to the regional manager

  • Overseeing a 2nd site near by

  • Fully responsible for the P&L accounts

  • Ensure all customer requirements are delivered in line with the expectation


Ideal candidate

  • Experience in managing a fairly large site,  preferably from an education sector or sport and leisure, but not essential

  • Someone that his ambitious to move up to a group manager role.

  • Have experience managing a multi site unit

  • Sound knowledge of Hygiene, Health and Safety

  • Standards and quality driven management style

  • Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery

  • Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills

  • Excellent understanding of P&L accounts

  • Strong leader

  • Good management skills

  • Financial and commercial acumen

  • A 'Can do' attitude
