My client is a world class IT consulting firm who specialise in Digital Transformation, Financial Crime and Cyber Security and have a large grasp of projects across the industry. They specialise in delivering digital applications that are quick to build and easy to change and are currently using cutting edge emerging technologies.

Currently they are seeking an Application Architect to join them in London to take part in the wide variety of projects they have in the pipeline. They are hiring at a variety of levels and will consider experienced architects as well as junior architects who are looking to develop with a FTSE100 company.

  • Full project lifecycle from bid, through requirements capture to development, integration, testing and delivery
  • Knowledge of development methods such as Agile, Waterfall, XP, SCRUM, RUP
  • Experience of estimation techniques and the ability to use them appropriately throughout the development lifecycle
  • Familiarisation with DMF and ability to use it on projects
  • Experience with project quality techniques including planning, risk management and decision making
  • Knowledge of design such as security, scalabililty, reliability and the ability to create and review designs which incorporate them appropriately
  • Knowledge of programming techniques such as test driven development, continuous integration, code coverage, static analysis
  • Working understanding of infrastructure platforms and middleware
