Description We are looking to recruit a Tutor/Trainer/Teacher/Employment Coach to deliver courses to help improve the employment prospects of our customers.

The role will develop and deliver a range of courses such as basic Maths and English, confidence building, CV workshops, interview technique and ESOL. We would welcome applications from candidates experienced in delivering these types of courses and any vocational accredited courses where you have generated referrals to ensure courses are filled appropriately.

Experience in the welfare to work/employment related services is not necessary but you do need the ability to inspire and motivate our customers to achieve high success rates and gain employment.

Salary is dependent on qualifications, as follows;

£20,000 PTTLS qualification (or equivalent)
£23,000 CTTLS qualification (or equivalent)
£25,000 DTTLS qualification (or equivalent)

Key duties of the role are:

Support towards the development of high quality courses to meet needs of learners and employers, leading to achievement and success rates and progressions to employment or further training opportunities
Deliver high levels of Customer Service and strive to deliver “Customer Delight”
Continuous improvement and development of training courses and materials i.e. schemes of work, structured lesson planning and timetable management as required to deliver a best in class delivery
Ensure the recruitment, interview, enrolment and retention of learners leads to a full cohort delivery in a classroom environment by liaising with all necessary internal and external stakeholders
All Health & Safety requirements are in place including any risk assessments that may be needed in relation to the pending cohort
Give information, advice and guidance to learners on the best possible training opportunities and training progression routes following the completion of their programme
Ensure regular learner reviews are completed on a 1-2-1 basis as required by company and contractual requirements
Identify and adapt to differing learning styles with use of group and 1-2-1 formats
Coach and support participants in a range of structured training programmes and 1-2-1’s to develop and enhance their employability within the labour market
Match individuals to suitable job opportunities and encourage them to fully engage in obtaining sustainable employment
Deliver accredited and non-accredited training programmes and workshops to increase learners skill set and progression into employment
Ensure delivery meets quality and performance standards set by Line Mangers and the Business
Obtain regular learner feedback to help further develop a quality delivery. and drive towards a best in class approach
Keep all records compliant, up to date and secure as per company security requirements.

Candidates need to have the following;

Experience in developing and delivering training courses and lessons
Ability to inspire, motivate and build up customer’s confidence
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers
Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
Positive attitude and confident yet can be sensitive to customer’s needs
Organised and able to plan and prioritise the workload
Excellent record keeping and attention to detail
Good IT skills; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and using the internet.
