We have a vacancy supporting adults for Waking Nights Support Worker in one of our Warrington services, in Latchford East.

You would be on the Relief (Bank) register which means you would only be called in when a regular member of staff is either off sick or has annual leave. The shift runs : 22.30 to 9.30am.

About the role

In this service we only support one person (aged 31) and you will play a key part in assisting them when they are wakeful at night; checking at regular intervals to ensure they are comfortable and getting a good night's sleep ready for the next day.

Because of the complexity of their learning disabilities, they sometimes require help going to the toilet.

Night work can be demanding and doesn't suit everyone, but if it's right for you, you'll find it incredibly rewarding and valuable. We will provide you with full training and with help and advice from your Head of Service (Frontline Manger).

What we need from you

Experience is not necessary, as we provide a full induction and free training programme, so this role is suitable for a trainee. People join us from many different backgrounds, it's more important to us that you have a positive approach and are willing to learn.
